The Solas and Vaev retreats offer a guided, hands-on way to open up (to) connection again — with yourself, other people, and the world around you. They're a set of modalities but also a method grounded in honouring all that we are.
The retreat process helps you notice how your body, emotions, relationships, and past experiences shape the way you live and respond. It safely brings in both the parts of us we feel safe about and are comfortable to show openly, and the parts we may hide, avoid, or feel uncomfortable with. We explore how to weave light, shadow, vitality, and responsibility into ways of living that honour what we carry and what we can bring into the world. We also offer space to grief and loss so that these don't remain in the shadows.
The journey process also explores inherited family patterns, ancestral as well as collective trauma, shared social experiences, and stories we carry. By making the connections we hold felt, we become aware of their influences in ways that allow our choices to become more conscious, taking into account the impact we have on others and they on us.
As we invite and honour all parts of ourselves with honesty and care, we can build more genuine relationships, take greater responsibility for how we affect others, and live in ways that are healthier and more sustainable for individuals and communities.
